Private - Label
Private labels are products or services that apply specifically through a business entity for other companies as trademarks and status symbols. Private label offers are spread across multiple market segments from food stuffs to data administration. Private labels are a favorable alternative to the overpriced trademarks.
In addition, these always offer a large scope for interpretation and cannot cater to every peculiarity of every sector because the “high” management standards have to measure up to a lot of interests at the same time. For this reason branches of trade or larger companies frequently create regulations in the area of supplier relationships, which then act on the specific requirements that only apply for the circle concerned, which then works together with those who issued this standard. This is why private labels are handled more stringently in most cases than the comparable standards.
More and more private label standards that take on specific organizational elements on an as needed basis have been generated recently. In most cases such standards do not conform to general interests so they are elevated to a standard, which is released at a national or an international level.
If private label standards are assessed then this is done using conventional certification routines but in most cases, we are not talking about a certificate and instead are talking about a private label. At the same time, however, private labels are often more economical to generate because the conventional governmental restrictions and cost intensive surveillance measures in other respects do not apply. The recognition, however, is limited only to the circles, which issued the particular private label standard.
We currently represent private labels in the following areas:
- Qualification of institutions that facilitate travel adjusted to the needs of the disabled; this incorporates all groups that are integrated into travel activities, about planning, transport and logistics up to liaison and support and the staging of events
- Qualification of therapists in the area of sleep apnea treatment for the administration of specific medical products (advancement splints) according to needs and pursuant to indication; at the same time this compliments the supply chain responsibility of the manufacturer to the patient as the user of the medical device.
On request it is possible to analyze private label standards with respect to the standard of quality being striven for and to this end develop assessment criteria and appraisal routines and then to implement them on your behalf with those parties involved. The party issuing the private label standard could certainly execute similar appraisals in terms of a supplier assessment but as a neutral office we offer the partners in the supplier relationship the option of determining the status professionally and objectively.
