“Air knows no boundaries ..." - very specific claims to suitability for flight are all the more applicable to airplanes and their components.

Strict standards were issued within the framework of international interest groups for aeronautic safety (aviation and aerospace), standards that the manufacturers of airplanes, service and maintenance companies and the suppliers of parts must satisfy. There are also very specific constraints that apply for the certification companies and the qualification of their personnel as well. The fact that the business operations that have undergone such a certification are published in a special supplier database (OASIS) with regard to their certified status is indicative of this.  

In our area of activity we adopt EN9120: 2005. This standard is based on ISO 9001.  It goes way further with regard to the safety and the reliability of a product as well as with regard to the processes associated with it.
